Master the art of making 5 Indian Style Lemonade in 2 minutes

When we talk about summer, we commonly miss the taste of some of the mouth-watering Indian drinks that not only quench our thirst but also refresh our bodies.

Although lemonade is a foreign word. But we as Indians have taken lemon-based drinks to another level with so much variation, and that suits the needs of every one of us, be it a child, young or old.

You may find so many varieties of Indian-style Lemonade such as jaljeera lemonade, mint lemonade, basil lemonade, Soda lemonade, shikanji, and jaljeera, Nimbu-paani in North India kluski in Kerala is always known for its extremely good rejuvenating taste.

Despite these lemonade drinks tasting so good, the only thing that makes us more worried about consuming these drinks outside with family is the quality of the ingredients they use. also known as rock salt. (This is actually pinkish gray in color and has a very pungent smell)

1 tablespoon of tamarind seedless.

Pinch of asafoetida (hing)

4 cups of water

Approximately 1 cup of ice.

Preparation

Jaljeera is a very easy drink to make. Blend all the spices into a paste. Strain it and mix the paste with the water. Serve over the ice.

To make jaljeera

First, blend all the ingredients together.

Cilantro

Mint

Guruji Lemon fruit Squash

Roasted cumin seeds powder

Ginger

Sugar

Salt

Black salt

Tamarind

And asafoetida (hing).

Add a couple of spoons of water. So that will make it easy to blend.

Shake it again.

Open it and check it out.

This looks really nice.

Let’s put about 1/4 cup of water.

Blend just for a few seconds.

This looks nice.

And now we are going to strain it.

Strain the spice mix.

Squeeze all the water out.

Spice mix has a very nice aroma, especially the mint.

Squeeze all the water out.

We can discard this leftover. Add the water to the spice mix to make it about 4 cups. Jaljeera is ready to be served. I like to serve this with ice. So, a few pieces of ice. And then pour the jaljeera over. And garnish it with a few pieces of mint.

Looking great.

4 kulluki sharbat- world-famous south Indian lemonade drinks

This is our today’s special recipe that comes from the southern part of India.

Preparing this Kulukki Sharbat or lemonade is a very simple procedure and can be made by anyone.

Summer has started and it is the right time to chill with juices. If you feel like having a spicy punch in your chill juice, this Kulukki Sharbat is a great choice to opt for. I wish you will definitely try this South Indian Style at home. It is a very simple procedure.

In this preparation, I have added basil seeds. These seeds can reduce heat in the body. These seeds are added for their distinct taste.

You can also use these basil seeds when you prepare Falooda at home.

Before heading into the procedure, we shall have a look at the list of ingredients required for this preparation.

These are the ingredients required for this preparation.

The first step in preparing this Kulukki Sabbath is to immerse the Basil seeds in water and soak them for about 10-15 minutes. Post-soaking, it appears like this.

These basil seeds are usually served with a variety of juices and can be consumed with milk.

The next step is to split the green chilies into 1/2. Do not finely chop the green chilies, as it doesn’t taste great. When cut as 1/2 we can add them directly into the water and mix.

Now, add 40 ml of Guruji Lemon Squash for a 200 ml serving. Now cut some lemon into thin slices for garnish to offer an appealing look.

Post cutting the lemon into thin slices like this, keep it aside.

These are all the major ingredients required for this preparation.

When these ingredients are kept ready before preparing, it will be easy for you while preparing the Kulukki Sabbath.

To a juicer jar, add the required amount of water.

Add the cut lemon slices, green chili, mint leaves, and basil seeds.

When said basil seeds, are used separately for cooking purposes and not the ones used for holy purposes.

add salt to enhance the flavors. Salt plays a vital role in enhancing the tanginess, spiciness as well as sweetness present.

You are required not to add any extra sugar as Guruji Thandai already contains Sugar. Although You can increase or reduce the quantity of sugar as per your choice, which is complete of your choice.

Now, add Ice Cubes. After adding all these ingredients, shake the contents well.

The Kulukki Sabbath is now ready to enjoy.

Instead of spending 200 Rs per drink, you can prepare this at home by spending just Rs50. You all would have not known the procedure of this preparation. It's high time to prepare this at home and enjoy it. I wish you all to try this at home and share your feedback.
